Must run to the last day of BEA, but first, huge congrats to Kate Messner for WINNING the EB White Readaloud award for her BRILLIANT FALL OF GIANNA Z.
Laurie Halse Anderson was on-the-spot and actually thought to record the announcement -- unlike Kate's agent (um... me), who was too busy screaming to think about such things.
Now go read Kate's open letter to the Association of Booksellers for Children (ABC) which gives the award. But be warned, you might tear up!
